Hello all!
New to Linux in general, however was hoping i may get some pointers in the right direction here...
I am just starting my Honours project which i have decided to do on Linux. My aim is to get Linux to act as a Cisco 2900 Series switch.
I am hoping to create an interface that is the same as Cisco's IOS. My system will take in Cisco commands and convert them in to the Linux equivalent, therefore allowing a user to configure a Linux box as a switch using Cisco speak!
As i say, very new to Linux, so instead of a technical question (Which i imagine will come
) I was wondering if anyone may be able to point me in the direction of good reading material around this area?
Thanks for the help
Martin
