has anyone use it?

I think most distro have swat installed now

just enable it in services

and open a webbrowser

i used to use it all the time. Now i have a working smb.conf, I just keep it backed up and move it from PC to PC as needed and edit

I can not get samba to work it just keeps telling me that the connection has failed

search the forums. I see hundreds of samba questions.

you need to make sure samba is running, check net configurations, check smb.conf(or use swat), check firewall settings.

all kinds of stuff could be wrong
