SuSE vpn routing problem - need help
I am hoping to find an answer pretty soon to this question because I think I'm pretty close to getting pptpd to work on my SuSE server, and I have spent a great deal of time searching around for an answer. Here it goes:
Configuration SuSE 9.0 Linux server which handles the DSL connection and acts as a router/gateway to the LAN. SuSEfirewall2 is running and masquerading is turned on. The interfaces are as follows: eth0 -- internal interface ppp0 -- external interface ppp1 -- vpn interface LAN -- 192.168.0.0 server vpn address : 192.168.255.1 remote vpn address: 192.168.254.100-105 Everything is working fine and I don't get any errors in the logs i.e. I can connect and authenticate successfully to the tunnel, until I try to ping the pptp server or anything on the other network from my remote computer (192.168.254.100). I suspect it is some kind of routing issue with the firewall configuration and iptables. Not sure what I'm missing, any help would be greatly appreciated. Nick |
