Suse Linux Connecting To Nt 4,0 Network

Hi,

I purchased suse linux 9.1 professional that I want to link into my companies NT 4.0 network. I tried very hard to get link into the network, but I'm having no luck. My goal is to stop using MS Outlook and IE. I will also need to link into the aix box with wyse60 emulation to use the business software. I can do all this with win98.
mY PC'S IP is 10.0.0.25
the gateway is 10.0.0.1
the aix box is 10.0.0.3
If i could get the emulation software (i use anizo in windows) to work first I will work on the email and web surfing next.

Can someone please give me some direction. I'm having no luck.

Samba is what Linux uses to connect to Windows - you will need to install it on both the server and your pc.

To connect to your company's mailserver (I am guessing they use Exchange) you will need to enable the webmail option on the Exchange server (you will need a licence to do this) and get Ximian Connector from Novell/SuSE.

In both these cases you will need a friendly admin to do the server work and someone will have to fund the webmail licence.
