SUSE Linux 10 Blueyonder Internet Connecting Help Needed

Hi,

I am having trouble getting my Suse linux 10 to get on the internet.

I have two pc's one running windows xp and another running the SUSE linux.

My broadband modem is a Motorola SB4200. Linux picks up the modem and assigns DCHP to it, and automatic IP address assignment is ticked. It uses USB as i get a flashing activity light.

However when i open Firefox i get website not available even though the detect connection automatically is ticked.

If you could help me with this it would be much appreciated.

Thank you.

Regards,

Robert.

If you can't get it working using USB, then do you have a network card in your machine? Those modems have Ethernet ports as well and using that might be less problematic.
