SUSE Linux 10 Blueyonder Internet Connecting Help Needed
Hi,
I am having trouble getting my Suse linux 10 to get on the internet. I have two pc's one running windows xp and another running the SUSE linux. My broadband modem is a Motorola SB4200. Linux picks up the modem and assigns DCHP to it, and automatic IP address assignment is ticked. It uses USB as i get a flashing activity light. However when i open Firefox i get website not available even though the detect connection automatically is ticked. If you could help me with this it would be much appreciated. Thank you. Regards, Robert. |

If you can't get it working using USB, then do you have a network card in your machine? Those modems have Ethernet ports as well and using that might be less problematic.
