suitable captive portal with ipcop?

bigup,

i'd configured a dedicated router (rh9) running firewall/dns/dhcp/transparent proxy then i wanted to add nocat.

i only managed to get nocat's frontend going because the transparent proxy insist on running from root, or i had to start it manually on every reboot (my poor config problem) so that demotivated me..

didn't like chillispot (couldn't find a transparent proxy in it). then i eventually found ipcop which rocks!

ok, so now i have ipcop on a sprint and it seems to be doing fine, the thing is, how/which captive portal is the easiest to mate with ipcop?

i definitely don't want the portal in the AP.

i heard about those 'addons' for ipcop but i can't fine any that's 'portal inclined'..

any suggestions??

well i dug deeper and found a couple sites with crazy ipcop addons.

has anyone nearby used any of them pertaining to captive portal?

those 'use at your own risk, and unsupported by ipcop' warnings are killing me...
