I'm trying to do an SSH connection between two compies with an RSA1 key. Now, the keyfiles are there and when I run ssh-agent that seems to be going. HOWEVER, when I try using ssh-add, then it says Cannot open a connection to your authentication agent. This is despite the fact that the ssh-agent is running.

Have I forgotten to set something somewhere?

It sounds like either ssh-agent ISN'T running or you don't have all of the environment variables set. How are you running ssh-agent? How are you running ssh-add?
