strongswan ipsec related

Hi all,

I have been working on ipsec since a few months now and one weird behavior i have observed is that,
During re-keying of the ipsec tunnels, especially the IKEv1 tunnels more traffic drop is seen.
This occurs when i give the re-keying time as 360s.
for all other re-keying times thge drop is less, but for this particular time the drop seems to be a little more than usually.
can someone please tell me why this is occurring and if there is any way i can avoid this.

Thanks
