Still problems with Xircom pcmcia NIC in a Mandrake 9.1 box

hi there, I checked a nice thread that worked out as a nice started for me trying to solve my problem with my mandrake 9.1 distro. since Im a newbie I tried to follow step by step solutions posted here but none of them seem to help me because:

1) I could not find the package pcmcia-X11-cs in my distro CD (which I got from a magazine - can it be incomplete??). In fact, I could not find any of the packages pcmcia-cs and pcmcia-X11-cs in the 'search' results returned by the mandrake package manager (under KDE). The package pcmcia-cs I could find in the distro CD but not the pcmcia-X11-cs (I suppose the package pcmcia-cs was already installed, since the pcmcia service was started and running -- but the Xircom not working).

2) I could not find the kernel source to compile under /usr/src/linux<version>, even after installing it using the package manager... what are the exact names of the kernel packages in Madrake 9.1? I found one for SECURE machines, one for SPM machine and one another which I forgot the name of it but I installed all of the three packages, just in case.

Does anyone out there has a clue of what could be the problem with my Xircom NIC and my Toshiba (Pentium 200Mhz, 64Mb RAM, 1Gb HD) laptop?

Well, Im feeling sad and would appreciate a lot your comments!

I have the same NIC sets up fine in redhat
I always had problems with it in mandrake

If you want the complete version of mandrake go to linuxiso.org

In fact, with previous mandrake distributions it worked out fine, but this one is really problematic... thanks for the tipregarding the complete code! Meanwhile, I will keep trying to figure out what is going on here....
