Starting vpn session from Desktop Icon Acer Aspire One
Hallo everyone, am new to Linux and this is my first post.
I have managed to configure a vpn connection on my Acer Aspire one running Linpus lite following instruction from http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...re-one-671585/ The problem is i can only start my vpn session from command line. Is there any way i can have the command am using (sudo vpnc <myvpn>) associated to an icon that i can click, on the desktop and have the command run in the background to start my vpn session? Any help will be highly appreciated. Thank you in advance. |
Depends if you are using Gnome, KDE, etc. If you are using Ubuntu, which uses Gnome:
go to System -> Preferences -> Main Menu and this will create an icon where ever you want in the Menu. If you want an icon on the desktop, Right-click on the desktop, choose "Create Launcher...", and fill out the information you need. |
