Stand alone Dns Server

I just put together a nice little box, a P3 450, 128 MB ram, and was wanting to make a dedicated dns cache'ing server for my small home network.
I was thinking of a mini-distro. All I want this box to do is DNS and ssh to manage it. Anyone with ideas for a good distro to do this.

Red face hmmmmm

hi ,

lots of distro are capable of what u want to accomplish.
RedHat, SuSe , mandrake, etc.

Ofcourse u understand that u need to configure dns and ssh urself .... no distro will pre-configure it for you.

Regards,
Xanthium.

if you're looking for a mini-distro, try demolinux or trustix or an LRP option.

Thanks for the reply, I have been looking into LRP or maybe coyoteLinux. This box doesn't need to be a firewall, just run bind. But thanks for the input
