ssh with proxy?

Hi everyone,

Thanks for coming by my post.
I sometimes have to use a proxy (internal, i mean setup in the LAN) to connect to the Internet mostly when the main line is down. In that case i am able to browse the Internet well and fine by connecting by browser (mostly Firefox) to the proxy. But I also need to access remote servers shell sometimes. Now what i dont know is "how can i ssh to a remote server by connecting through the proxy?" I mean in case of broswer i can click on the connection setting and put the proxy's address there. But how can i configure ssh (from command line) with a proxy?
Please let me know if there is any way out and if yes then how do it get it done as i really need it for my work...

Thanks a lot in advance,
SiLiCoN
