ssh to box at home

Hi everyone,

When i am at work (windows) I can ssh to my home machine (Fedora 4) only if i bounce from another system. In this case i have an online shell account and have to ssh there before ssh back to my home machine.

How can i allow a connection from the work machine aswell ?

known_hosts file shows: (minus the key jibberish)
localhost ssh-rsa
ftp.onlineshell.be

authorized_keys shows:
only one key and it is the onlineshell
myusername@onlineshell.be

authorized_keys2 shows: (should i have this?)
myusername@onlineshell.be

Thanks

Forget to mention, from the work network i connect through putty. I imagine i have to somehow generate a public key and append it to the authorized_keys file but how to do this in putty?

The "authorized_keys" just allows you to log in without a password, but can't you also use the password to login? Here is how to generate keys in putty: http://the.earth.li/~sgtatham/putty/...r8.html#pubkey

Even with the authorized_keys in place at home i am still asked for my password for some reason (when bouncing from the onlineshell).

Connecting directly to home with Putty just times out .Sgot me boogered.

Thnks for the puttygen link.
