SSH timeout on remote server

Hi, i have a server we can call svr1 which runs Zenos. It uses a check_ssh plugin with a timeout set to 20 seconds to monitor another server we can call svr2, which is remote. Once a day, we get a ssh alert from Zenos saying its timed out trying to ssh ping the svr2, the remote server.

Nagios has a ping test to see if a server is up and a
test for the ssh service which doesn't use ping. My
guess is that the ping test is failing. If that's the
case, it would be good to check if that server or your
network has a lot of traffic at the time. Ping times
can increase dramatically on some networks when there
is a lot of traffic.

I'd also check what cron jobs are running at the time
when the error occurs. It might give you a hint.
