Talking ssh symlink?

This is just a wild thought, but I wanted to know if it is possible, and if so, how?

I want to move a file from one folder to another, but in truth I'll be moving the file from one computer to another. I just want the simplicity of "mv file file". Is there a way to set up a symlink like this that uses ssh? I'm not savvy on symlinks, but have set one up at one point.

Thanks for the feedback in advance.

I've used scp with success. For script purposes though I want mv because I may be moving the file to the same computer.

well i think you probably really want to be looking at sshfs. mounting a remote filesystem over ssh.
