ssh RSA authentication changed?

Somewhere around the time that my VPS server provider messed up my server and then restored from backup, I got this message when I try to connect to ssh that the Remote Host Identification changed.

What exactly could make an RSA host key change possible? Would is be expected for something like a server restore from backup or should I be gravely concerned?

If it's probably alright, how can I "Add correct host key in /root/.ssh/known_hosts" as the message says? I've looked at the file, but don't really understand it.

Probably they didn't back up the host key for sshd, and so it made a new one after the restore.

All you need to do is go into /root/.ssh/known_hosts and delete the line that mentions this server - the hostname of IP is near the beginning of each line.
