ssh login on network
i know i'm a fool for not knowing this, but:
i want to log into my linux machine (redhat 9) from a mac running os x. one is at home, the other is at work. it seems that i should use ssh from the terminal on the mac. my problem is, they're both on networks, so the only IP address i can determine for the linux machine is just the local address (192.168...). what do i type on the mac to do this, and do i have to have anything special running/installed on the linux box? thanks!! |
I think there is no way. For direct connetion you need public IP.

yeah, but you could always set your linux box up as a router, that way it will have an external and internal ip.
