SSH help/blocked port

here is my situation,
i can ssh to a server from home and have it work perfectly.

but when i ssh thourgh the inside network to an outside server it is blocked

is there a way to get around this blocking ??.. im assuming that all they did was block port 22 maybe??

any help would greatly be appericated.. thanks

The client port you use for ssh is not 22 - it is a high numbered port instead. (Port 22 is listening on the server side.)

What happens exactly when you try to connect with that client? Does it time out?

it will wait for about a min or so , then time out. i no for a fact that it was set up so you comuld not ssh to an outside network, i just need to find away around that. it is blocked in the networks ruter, i dont have acess to it or no wat they did.maybe bocked port 22 outgoing (out side the network ::internet)
