ssh display issues

This is probably going to be a dumb question.
I am attempting to ssh from linux to linux (both red hat fedora 2.6) and be able to multiple display windows. Can I do this with X11?

Welcome to LQ.

You can run as many programs as you like usng the X protocol.

If you want to backround the proccess so that you can have terminal access back then add an ampersand:
xclock &
