Post SSH client stops working after wake and after disabling/enabling the network

When ever my computer wakes from sleep, or if the network cable is unplugged and replugged, my SSH client starts having problems. I can't SSH anywhere. When I try to, SSH just times out. The only way to restore SSH is to do a full reboot. I tried restarting the network manager, and I believe I brought down/up the interface, but that did not help. Is there something else I can't restart that might get SSH running again? Do I have some configuration problem?

try «LC_ALL=C ssh -vvv» option to get more information when the issue comes
will see what does it stuck at
and do not forget to post the full output including exact error message

for example, if you usually SSH with «ssh -i ./privkey user@hostname», than put «LC_ALL=C» in front of the command and add «-vvv» just after «ssh» word:
LC_ALL=C ssh -vvv -i ./privkey user@hostname
