SSH Authentication problem
I'm attempting to setup ssh to replace the telnet services, and i'm having problems with the authentication. Everything works ok up to login, where it wont authenticate any user to login. I'm using openssh-2.9p2 w/ a slackware 7.1 distro.

Also, i've yet to figure out how to remove the qotd on logon..

Any suggestions/solutions are greatly appreciated.

Are you using PAM?: Does ssh have PAM Support?
Are you trying to connect to a ssh2 server with a ssh1 client?
Is the client reverse resolvable?
Is your ssh trying to use ipv6 as a first choice?
