squirrelmail problems
hello everyone i have a problem out here

i am using sendmail and for web access i am using squirrelmail.

it was working 5 hours before but now there is a big problem hanging out

i can access my mail server from web, and also receive mail too but i can 't send e-mail to any one from the web. But i can from client applications like outlook-express etc..

i reinstalled squirrelmail but still it does not work.
i needed to relay one more ip so i edited the file "access" at /etc/mail
then i issued the command make

but it gave me error

[root@mail mail]# make
makemap: Need to recompile with -DNEWDB for hash support
make: *** [access.db] Error 73

what is it. my distro is redhat9.

What do you have configured for squirrelmail for your outgoing email smtp server settings? sendmail or a smtp-server? Is your sendmail server allowing such outgoing connections with its current configuration? As in, is your host allowed to send email out? Have you tried using your ISP's smtp server instead?
