SquirrelMail login problem
Hi there...
I have been trying to set up qmail with vpopmail to manage users for 3 weeks now, but am not having much luck. I have followed the instructions on lifewithqmail and have qmail working properly (i think). I also have vpopmail working correctly(i think). I have qmailadmin installed and working with vpopmail, courier-imap is also installed. The problem i am having is when I try and log in to squirrelmail I get the error Invalid user/password. I know the user/password is correct. Can anyone provide any suggestion as to where the problem is.
Cheers
Tom

Can you login to the imap server with another imap client?
Are there any messages in your courier-imap log file?

The log file may need enabled in the configuration if you don't have one.
What error did you get when logging in from another client? Did it refuse the login details or were you unable to connect?

I get an invalid user/password, and i have checked vpopmail, and the user and password is definately correct...
So im not sure... i also installed courier-imap through Suse's yast installer, and find configuration difficult, i am not sure if it is configured to use vpopmail, but the user/password is the same as the users account on the system anyway.
Any thoughts?
Cheers Tom
