squirrelmail "error in login page"" when content advisor is enabled
Hi to All,
I have install mail system with qmail & squirrelmail(1.4.3a).
The mail system is working fine , I can logged in to the machine by any users on linux or windows.
But I want to restrict the users to Use only the approved site by activating the content advisor in the windows .
I am able to add the web sites to content advisor and it works fine .
when I the address /name of mail system ,
the home is opening and if try to login through IE6 it throws error "?ou must be logged in to access the page".
Hopefully this will help someone in the future not have to repeat all my fruitless searches for a solution.
gentgeen - I was needing a solution to this exact problem, but it appears that your web site with the solution no longer exists only 3 months after your post. Is there someplace else that I may access your directions (or does anyone else know where they might be or have the solution)? Perhaps you can just post the directions here?
(I notice gentgeen only has two posts and that was the second one, so not sure if he will see this, and his profile doesn't allow sending him email.)
OK - thanks. As it turned out, I had found the Hanselman page by creative Googling. The real solutions are for Squirrelmail server administrators. I was hoping for a solution for end users of the client computers (some setting to tweak in Content Advisor). My ultimate personal solution was to turn Content Advisor off. But I also forwarded the Hanselman page URL to the ISP of my home email, who also happens to have set up the email server where I work with Squirrelmail, so it has the same problem - so that they could tell people that the solution is to turn off Content Advisor, or even for him to incorporate your solution into their Squirrelmail if they were so inclined.
