Squid Proxy - No Caching Option?!

Hi, I have an old server with not so speedy SCSI disks, so my Squis Proxy does not have a purpose as a caching point. So the question is: How can I turn off the caching opetion in squid?

I want it only for access control and filtering.

Hi,

you can try the following:

open your squid.conf and enter the line

no_cache deny all

If "all" doesn´t work, replace "all" with address or name of the server you will connect to.
