I would like to know is it possible to have user authentication method implemented for a proxy server. Means those who need to access must have to provide their proxy user name and password.

If it is possible provide me a good guide lines to implement that

Thanks

This is the same question you asked in another post. You were directed to the Squid proxy software, and Squid can be set to use LDAP authentication.

Please don't post the same question more than once.
