squid config

I would like to use squid as my cache-proxy and when reading the squid.conf I could not find out what the paramete I need , so I post here hoping someone could help me to solve this problem .

1. The mail.yahoo.com, gmail.com page did not change the fist page interface ,so squid have to refresh those page is not neccessary . What the paramete in squid.conf to make the squid load those page 1 time only and cache it forever
2. Some forum have many new thread ( linuxquetions is one of them ), so if the squid refresh time is too long --> could not see new post . So how to make squid refresh time of some pages to be difference from the default or make some site did not cache by the squid , when client request the proxy , the proxy connect to the site and after finish , it clean from the cache too .

Thank all for reading

You'd control them using ACL's within the squid.conf file, though the comments don't make much sense unless you've read the additional documentation here: http://www.squid-cache.org/Doc/FAQ/FAQ-10.html . For things like forums, I've found it easier to tell Squid never to cache them as they constantly change, so don't bother the cache trying to keep the latest version.
