squid and dial up------


hello sir, I am having some client machines which are connected to Squid server.And I am having one dial up line connected to serial port of Squid server machine.
Is there any Configuration required to connect my clients to the internet through Squid proxy server.Any thing related to dial up is to mentioned in /etc/squid/squid.conf file

it depends on what ip address u assign to ur dial up clients.
if its from the same network group as that of ur office network than its fine.
there is acl in squid.conf and u need to look at it if ur having trouble with some of ur client m/c

no no sir, I will try to explain the problem--------------
I am having a squid machine and some clients are connected to it through RJ 45 network connector..

Now I am having one PABX line(connected to internet).This PABX line I am connecting to the serial port of the Squid machine.

Now in the ACLs in /etc/squid.conf I had given permission to all the clients to access the internet,But they are unable to connect. I want to know is there any thing related to the PABX line is to be mentioned in the Squid machine.
