Squid 2.4 DNS cache refreshing

I use squid 2.4 on RH8. Client systems gives the error as"The requested URL could not be retrieved. Unable to determine the IP address from host name for", while hitting a page.I'm very new to linux. Pls, anyone can tell me the command to flush the dns cache. Thanks in advance.
