Hello, does anyone know of a site where I can do a speedtest that does require a gui. Either a command from a shell or something that works in text browser would probably work. Thanks daashag
Well it's the transfer speed from your server to the particular computer you're downloading to, at the particular time, with certain 'net traffic conditions...
Yeah thats the problem with doing ftp. My server is in the U.S. and I am in the Netherlands. Makes for too many hops to get an accurate reading of my internet connection to my server. I just installed vmware and loaded windows and remote consoled and and ran speed test, I know a alot of work just to run a speed test, but the windows box is actually going to server other purposes. Is there not a site where a text browser will work?
