Thanks for the info, and sorry it took so long to get back. I did invest in a D-router, and the speed has increased dramatically! I talked to an expert on the subject because just a select few sites were giving me problems still, and he said that, for instance, idsoft's ftp site limits their connection speed to 10k/sec on purpose. Man other sites do this too. Thanks for all the help!
