Specify range of icmp-types for iptables?

Something like:

Code:
-A INPUT -p ipv6-icmp -m icmp6 --icmpv6-type 128:129 -j ACCEPT
does not work, as it would for ports. Is there a way to specify a range of icmp-types or icmpv6-types?

I'm afraid the simple answer is "no". You'll have to create a separate rule for each ICMP(6) type.

Fortunately, unlike TCP and UDP ports, there aren't that many types and codes.
