Sometimes can't get mails

I have redhat9, postfix, public ip, registered domain, full-time internet (wireless)

My problem is:

My mail system is work fine , but sometimes I can't receive any mails for a day, except if I address directly my mail server from outside. After a day or two everything works fine. I will show it in example:

Monday :
from user@remote_domain -> to -> user@mydomain work

Tuesday :
from user@remote_domain -> to -> user@mydomain doesn't work except if I send
from user@remote_domain -> to -> user@mail.mydomain work

Wednesday :
from user@remote_domain -> to -> user@mydomain doesn't work except if I send
from user@remote_domain -> to -> user@mail.mydomain work

Thursday :
from user@remote_domain -> to -> user@mydomain work

mail.mydomain is my mail server.
I have to tell you that every day I have no Internet for half an hour.

I suspect this is a problem with your DNS servers. Check with whoever hosts them for you.

I think DNS works, because I can see my homepage in www.mydomain from outside world, but I can't receive mails.

My MX record in DNS is:

@ IN MX 10 mail.mydomain

Is it correct?

As well as

@ IN MX 10 mail.mydomain

You should also have an A record for mail like

mail IN A XX.XX.XXX.X

Where XX.XX.XXX.X is the IP address of your mail server

So your DNS should look something like

Code:
                       IN   MX  10 mail.mydomain.com.
                       IN   A   XX.XX.XXX.X
www		       IN   CNAME   mydomain.com.
mail		       IN   A   XX.XX.XXX.X
