Something wrong with my apache

Hi ,

currently i am using fedora core 2.

And i was upgrading my system from mysql 3.28 to mysql4.0
and also php 4.++ to php 5.0

i hve managed to configue mysql by installing all the sources ..
but now to php ..
wht i did was :
1) rpm -e php-ldap php-pear php
2) rpm -i db4-4.3.27-1.i386.rpm
3) and all the php-5.0, php-mysql , php, devel , php-pear

it installed properly

but .. when i restart my httpd ..
it came out this error
"[root@localhost install]# service httpd start
Starting httpd: Syntax error on line 6 of /etc/httpd/conf.d/php.conf:
Cannot load /etc/httpd/modules/libphp5.so into server: /lib/tls/i686/libdb-4.3.so: symbol __strcpy_chk, version GLIBC_2.3.4 not defined in file libc.so.6 with link time reference
[FAILED]"

any ideas on how to resolve this problem ?

What is your libc version ?

To know that, just type :
/lib/libc.so.6

(+enter)

Where did you get these RPMs? if they're not compiled for your distro they won't work.
Playing around with Glibc is the last thing you want to do so don't touch it.
