Solved Problems with NAS and Modem
When I connect my Synology NAS to my lan then I can reach the NAS and I can do every think I like to do with NAS disk station .
But my internet connection is gone .
All I can do is shutdown the NAS and reset my modem than internet is back .
I even try to use airport express as my router the result is the same meaning I can reach the NAS but again the internet is gone on both the linux box as well as Mac box .
AS far as I understand it the NAS is just a linux box file system ext4
Can anybody can give a hint how to solve this problem .
Thanks in advance

What is the model number of your NAS.
Is it running a DHCP server?

I am unfamiliar with Synology devices but it does have DHCP server capability.
Unfortunately, all I can suggest at the moment is read the users guide.

let me see if i follow what you are saying.
you have 3 computers (ill include the NAS as a computer) that are in your LAN.
Your internet is down, what does this have to do with your ability to connect to the other computers in your LAN?
Even without a WAN side connection if you are using a mutliport modem it should still provide DHCP and routing (the switch portion of the modem/router) thus the 3 computers should still have an IP address and connectivity inside the LAN.
Is the NAS set to a static IP? If not this needs to be fixed ASAP. It should be a static IP to reduce connection issues.
If the ISP's modem/router is not the switch you are using for your LAN, what is wrong with your switch?
Also as you only have the three computers there is no reason NOT to run static IPs.

Well lieb as write before I try both my routers 1 in the modem 2 in the airport express
The airport express is a router and a WIFI port at the same time
Airport express is used to connect to 2 Ipads Apple tv , printer ,
In my opinion my computers tablets printer airport express they all need a IP adress

do not mix 2 routers into a network unless you are GREAT at networking.
you will start to run into all kinds of crazy issues from duplicate IPs being used to being on the wrong subnet, etc... just a bad idea.
a fast look over the airport configuration sheet from Apple indicates you SHOULD be able to disable the routing functionality (DHCP) and turn it into nothing but a passthrough. yes it will still require an IP, but thats not a big deal.
Again you have a very small LAN (less then 50 devices in all) extremely simple to manage with static IPs. not to mention your ROUTERS, Printers, Apple iTVs should all have static IP no matter what. they are fixed network devices within your LAN.
your LAN is slightly smaller then mine. I run all of my desktop computers with static IPs, my media computer (Raspberry Pi) and printers are also static IPs. The rest I have the ability with my router (IPCop, look it up) to set a "fixed lease" in my DHCP pool. What this means is that when ever those devices connect they always connect with the same IP. its like a static IP, but it reduces my DHCP pool. this is by design. I still have to configure the router and i have to tell the router the host name for those devices as my DNS is also taken care of via my IPCop.
Setting up a network properly takes some time up front, but once it is properly configured its maintenance is very simple when you are using static IPs combined with fixed lease IPs and a properly populated hosts fields for the DNS server.
