snmp queries


Hi.. do u know how i can get results from an snmp server and a mib using my linux box?

Checkout the net-snmp package. In particular:

man snmpget
man snmpwalk
man snmpcmd

If you are wanting to chart values returned by snmpget's, checkout MRTG

Thx... i have also read the net-snmp site but still i think that i need a tutorial that includes both theory and linux commands... Do u have something to suggest me?
