SNMP configuration

Guys,

I created a new file snmpd.conf with the following lines below (renamed snmpd.conf file that came with the isntall). Any security hole? On the firewall, I added the entries to accept from the IPs below.
OS is Centos 5.5 with net-snmp installed.
*** snmp.conf ****

rocommunity MyCommunityName 192.168.xxx.1

rocommunity MyCommunityName 192.168.xxx.2

rocommunity MyCommunityName 192.168.xxx.3

********************************************

**** firewall ****

-A RH-Firewall-1-INPUT -p udp -m udp -s 192.168.xxx.1 --dport 161 -j ACCEPT
-A RH-Firewall-1-INPUT -p tcp -m tcp -s 192.168.xxx.1 --dport 161 -j ACCEPT
-A RH-Firewall-1-INPUT -p udp -m udp -s 192.168.xxx.2 --dport 161 -j ACCEPT
-A RH-Firewall-1-INPUT -p tcp -m tcp -s 1192.168.xxx.2 --dport 161 -j ACCEPT
-A RH-Firewall-1-INPUT -p udp -m udp -s 192.168..xxx.3 --dport 161 -j ACCEPT
-A RH-Firewall-1-INPUT -p tcp -m tcp -s 192.168.xxx.3 --dport 161 -j ACCEPT

Do you face any problem or error?

If you want to use secure snmp then you can try snmpv3.

Regards,

your configuration seems ok. when you configure snmp use different community name instead of default(public). (i assume MyCommunityName is your community name).
