Exclamation smpppd

I'm not sure if my question belongs here.

I set-up my ADSL through YaST2, and so far so good. Then I activated the personal firewall in YaST2. Since then when I log into my user or root, I get an error that smpppd isn't running or I don't have permission to dialout.

I then de-activated the personal firewall to see what would happen, and I still get the error. Unless, I do su and type in smpppd. Then I could get back on the net.

Any ideas?

Thank,

Erik
