Post Smoothwall Ports Above 1024

How to I edit the rc.firewall.up script in Smoothwall to deny all ports above 1024. When I try to change "Accept" to "Deny" in the script under "#Everything above 1024 is fair game"
and reboot, the firewall no longer works!

Help, please!!!
