Question Smbclient and Windows 7

Hello everyone,

-I have installed Crunchbag linux on my laptop, and am connected trough a router to my Windows 7 pc.
-Machines can ping each other.
-I have installed smbclient.

I want to be able to access a shared folder on the Windows 7 machine OR be able to see some shared folder on the linux box, so I can transfer files.
I have no idea how to do this, I'm stuck for hours trying things and debugging, can anyone please just lay out a few simple commands so I can take it from there, I doubt this is uncommon...

Thank you very much in advance, do not think I didn't try to do it, I just suck or something.

Yes I have, and still am. In the meantime I'll ask here...

I do:

sudo mount -t cifs // -o user=cab00t,password=***** /home/cab00t/windouz/

And I get:

mount error(13): Permission denied

It's a Windows 7 machine connected via lan.
Did I miss anything? Is there some special rule to naming cuz my account name on linux box is same as in windows?

I did it, the whole problem was regarding the fact that I changed the name of my account on the W7 machine, but samba or Windows didn't buy it. What a waste of time browsing trough all the forums on the web was.

The thing is, there is way more then one issue that gives out "mount error(13): Permission denied", in case this is it, go right click my computer -> properties -> remote settings -> remote tab -> select users, and in the corner it'll say "<Username> already has access."
