smb4k won't work under SUSE 10

Smb4k worked until I upgraded to SUSE 10. Now I get this message.

WARNING: The "printer admin" option is deprecated
smbmnt must be installed suid root for direct user mounts (1000,1000)
smbmnt failed: 1

I figured out how to change smbmount to suid root, and now I get this message:

WARNING: The "printer admin" option is deprecated
libsmb based programs must *NOT* be setuid root.
1748: Connection to MAIN failed
SMB connection failed

So I must set it to setuid root, except that I'm not supposed to setuid root. This is crazy. Help!

Have you tried to turn off the firewall? That works for me because I am behind a router with built in firewall. Otherwise the firewall (SuSE) will not allow my smb shares to be accessed.

I never turned on my SUSE firewall, and besides, I can access other files on the Windows box. Any other suggestions? Thanks.
