There are a couple of ways t do this. If you want to mount it the "old fashion" way from the command line, you can type "smbmount //<server>/<share> <mountpoint>". "smbtree" will list all the samba servers & shares in the network.
If you want an easier way without remembering what all the extra parameters may be, you can use smb4k to create a mount point (~/smb4k/<server>/<mountpoint>) using a graphical interface. It's a little slower, but easier for the new Linux user.
