I see the post of the last guy of the Telnet, but I have a different problem, with the telnet and the FTP. Everytime that I telnet to my local Linux Servers, it takes about 15 segs to respond, sometimes it gives me timeout to connect. Same as on the FTP. Once I get connected everything is going very fast, like I was sitting in front of the computer. All the network is 10/100 Mbps, Im using a Switch with all the ports at 100 FD. The Networks cards are recognize by the System, the pings show me and average of 0.233ms. Im Using Suse 6.4 by the moment. Any sugestion?

What I was saying is this.

You can't have both you switch and your NICs set to 100/full. One of the two has to be set to auto if the other is set to 100/full.
