Slow internet
Hello.
I just installed Ubuntu 5.10 on my new laptop. Almost everything works out of the box. But the bigest problem is internet/network connection. It's damn slow, about 50-100 times slower than in Windows.
I think it's not DNS problem, because internet is slow all the time. Actualy about five secounds after begining of transfer speed is goog, but later it fals down to 20-10 KB/s.
I connect to internet through roomates computer with windows internet connection sharing.
Thanks for any help, and sorry for my english.

[b] I had rebooted the PC after the installation and now it seems be working fine.
Not sure what is going on. Anyways, I think the problem has been resolved by it's own.[b]
