SLOW everything is SLOW - Even directory listings!

I recently tried to rent a server from a place in Seattle that I have remote access to. Ever since I got it it has been terribly slow. If I want to just list the /etc directory, it can take over 4 minutes to spit it all out.

My ping is fine, the traces are fine, I can even play an online game on it (I rented it to play games on remotely). It does take a while to connect, but once I connect it seems to run fine.

Anyone have any idea what the heck this could mean?

Thanks in advance.

I'm guessing they are supposed to provide you with some level or technical support or quality of service. So email them and ask them if they know what the deal is.
