Slow DSL connection

I got my RH 7.3 working with pacnet BB on a ethernet interface. However, my connection speed is only abt 1/4 or less than what i get in a windows platform (dual boot)

Is there anything i should configure to get redhat working with the dsl conenction as it should have?

Thanks in advance
