SLIP Networking
Hello all,
Some one just gave me a crapy old laptop. Any smart person would just toss it: no nic, the screen is funky, etc. But I like it. ;-) I was hoping to do something useful with it, but for that I need net access. (oh, also no cd drive). So I was wondering, does anyone know of a boot-disk (floppy) linux system that includes SLIP (serial networking) support? Or perhaps some way that I could add it to an existing boot-linux? Thanks, -Jack C jack {at} crepinc.com www crepinc com |
Please? Does anyone at least know of a distrib that has boot flopies with SLIP support to get the packages???
Thanks again, -Jack C jack {at} crepinc.com www crepinc com |
