Slackware 10 - KDE - Konqueror Issue

Hey guys searched around some but came up with nothing so here goes.

Just installed the above on a portable - everything seems to be running fine, can ping all my systems on the network BUT when I open up Konkueror to try and hit ANY sit I get this message -

An error orrcurred while loading "insert website url info"
Unknown host "insert website url info"

Note: guess i cant post url's yet but you get the point.

This happens no matter what site I enter - google / yahoo anything.

Thought this could have something to do with my DNS settings so I changed it over to DHCP and still no change. Using a Linksys router BEFSR41 - really seems like a DNS issue to me but I am way newb when it comes to this stuff so thanks in advance for the help
