SIOCADDRT: No such process

I have installed Fedora7 and it has no network.
pinging returns - network is unreachable
modprobe tg3 brings up tg3 driver
route add gw.. returns - SIOCADDRT: No such process

any ideas how to proceed?

well i suggest try to add again your gateway ip . it seems your gateway ip is not valid / wrong .
btw what ip you using , public or local ?
