SIOCADDRT : Network is Unreachable

Unable to ping Gateway : Gives Error SIOCADDRT: Network is Unreachable

My Network Configuration:
=========================
I have a LAN on the subnet 10.168.168.0. I would like the computers on
this subnet to access my Red Hat 7.1 Linux machine to get to the
Internet. Thus, my box needs to be set up as a gateway. This Linux box
then needs to connect to another gateway in order to get to the Internet
itself. The gateway is on subnet 192.168.0.0

I have 2 NIC's
eth0 - Internal Lan (RealTek PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter) IP-10.168.168.X
eth1 - For external Network (Accton...........) IP-192.168.0.X

My ifconfig shows all the 3 interfaces up
lo,eth0,eth1

Furnished below is my routing table:
=============================================
route add -net 10.168.168.0 netmask 255.255.255.0 gw 10.168.168.X dev eth0
route add -net 10.168.168.X netmask 255.255.255.255 gw 127.0.0.1 dev lo
route add -net 10.255.255.255 netmask 255.255.255.255 gw 10.168.168.X dev eth0
route add -net 127.0.0.0 netmask 255.0.0.0 gw 127.0.0.1 dev lo
route add -net 127.0.0.1 netmask 255.255.255.255 gw 127.0.0.1 dev lo
route add -net 192.168.15.0 netmask 255.255.255.0 gw 192.168.15.X dev eth1
route add -net 192.168.15.X netmask 255.255.255.255 gw 127.0.0.1 dev lo
route add -net 224.0.0.0 netmask 240.0.0.0 gw 192.168.15.X dev eth1
route add -net 224.0.0.0 netmask 240.0.0.0 gw 10.168.168.X dev eth0
route add -net 255.255.255.255 netmask 255.255.255.255 gw 192.168.15.X dev eth1
route add -net 255.255.255.255 netmask 255.255.255.255 gw 10.168.168.X dev eth0
route add -net 192.168.0.0 netmask 255.255.0.0 dev eth1
route add default gw 192.168.0.X

Any Help greatly appreciated !!!

It almost looks like you might want to specify the adapter on your gateway route like:

route add defualt gw 192.168.0.1 eth1
